A large non profit San Francisco Bay Area Metropolitan Area Medical Center is actively seeking a RN Cardiovascular Critical Care Staff Nurse to join their renown healthcare organization.
The Cardiovascular Critical Care Staff Nurse will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality-nursing care in a patient and family centered care environment according to the philosophy and goals/objectives of the Medical Center.
Reporting to the Cardiovascular ICU Nurse Manager, the CVICU Nurse will assist in the overall patient management of the Cardiac ICU Unit. The Cardiovascular ICU Staff Nurse will be responsible for all clinical and operational activities of the units in accordance with the Medical Center mission, vision, and value. The Medical Center is known for their robust Cardiovascular Program, and the nurse will work in a 20 bed Cardiac ICU.
The Registered Nurse Cardiac ICU will assess, plan, evaluate and document the nursing process in the Cardiovascular ICU as needed. The Cardiac ICU Staff Nurse will ensure patient support through infection control processes, sterility assurance, and product and instrument availability.
This well regarded medical Center has one of the largest Cardiovascular Surgery Programs in the country, and the CVICU Nurse will be treating patients recovering from a variety of Cardiovascular Surgeries. The Medical Center features: a Mechanical Circulatory Support Program and is one of the only facilities with this program in the region. Ideally, the Cardiovascular ICU Staff nurse will have experience with Advance Heart Failure, Bridge to Transplant, heart or lung transplants and ECMO Experience.
