Overview: Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Clinician for the Out-patient Behavioral Health Unit at Morristown Medical Center.
Responsibilities: Essential Functions/Responsibilities:Clinician working in new walk in behavioral health assessment center conducting assessment interviews of emotional, behavioral, alcohol and/or substance misuse issuesDemonstrate considerable expertise in areas of psychosocial assessment, crisis counseling and stabilization, provide support, information, advocacy and guidance through the system and linkage to internal/external outpatient behavioral health treatment providersConduct 1-3 outpatient type treatment sessions as bridge to next provider as necessaryManage appropriate transfers to ED as necessary Qualifications: Minimum Education:Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or other behavioral health related field requiredMinimum Experience:Considerable experience in areas of psychosocial assessment; working in acute care setting or psych emergency services strongly recommendedExperience with EMR preferredLicenses/Certifications:Clinical License Required; LCSW, LPC or Licensed Psychologist Qualifications/Requirements:Spanish speaking a plus About Us: Atlantic Health System aims to deliver the highest quality, safety and care combined with the best experience for our patients and their families.
