SENIOR DEVELOPER (HYBRID, OPEN TO ALL US OFFICES)

The Senior Developer role will include utilization of system development methodology for delivery of software solutions to address a wide range of business needs while meeting reliability and performance standards. The Senior Developer is also responsible for writing requirements, technical specifications and use cases. This position is expected to demonstrate expertise in using multiple programming/scripting languages, and to rely on experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish project goals. This position works closely with other regionally-based colleagues on various projects and initiatives as assigned.

How You’ll Help Our Team Succeed

  • Design, Develop and Maintain applications using C#/.NET and related technologies including ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, JSON and XML
  • Enhance SharePoint Online/2013 custom applications, SharePoint sites using Master Pages, web forms, custom web parts, workflows, custom lists, .Net Technologies and third-party applications
  • Migrate SharePoint 2013 site to SharePoint Online and implement Office 365 Intranet site (test and production) including any necessary security configurations
  • Build high performing applications with SQL Server database and writing complex queries using T-SQL
  • Apply Scrum and Agile Methodologies to build applications
  • Understand software practices of Continuous Integration, Continuous Development CI/CD and Automated Testing
  • Review, analyze, and modify applications, including development, testing, debugging, and documenting programs
  • Understand and collaborate with business areas to formulate new/upgraded system requirements

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • 8+ years of relevant experience that demonstrates increasing capability and responsibility; experience in a professional services firm preferred
  • The desire to take initiative and actively contribute to the team and the firm
  • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to learn the firm’s financial and operational functions
  • The mindset to provide superior service
  • Microsoft .NET framework software design and development experience
  • Experience in ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC
  • Hands-on custom development experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2013
  • Extensive hands-on custom development experience with SQL Server
  • Experience in developing mobile first web applications using C#, .NET Core, Bootstrap, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience in developing web/desktop applications using multiple programming/scripting languages
  • Experience with Power BI, SSRS, Boomi and Cloud Services (AWS or Azure) a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required, or equivalent combination of skills and experience. Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
