From developing creative new Lens features for Snapchat, to supporting the continuous growth and evolution of Lens Studio (https://lensstudio.snapchat.com/) (our platform for an ever-increasing community of AR creators), to designing the cutting-edge computer vision and machine learning technology that makes face transformation Lenses possible — our Augmented Reality team is working hard on their mission to bring AR to more people, places, and moments, every day.We’re looking for a Software Engineer In Test to join our Augmented Reality team.**What you’ll do:**+ Improve Lens submission end to end automation coverage, contributed to automation tests cases build+ Design and implement framework to integrate with iOS and Android mobile device for backend automation coverage+ Deeply understand Snap’s AR Lens product and quality requirements+ Collaborate with engineering teams and other quality engineers to design the best automation strategy and tools+ Integrate automation with CICD pipelines to ensure Lens team feature release quality+ Monitor and build metrics to predict quality trends**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:**+ Strong automation skills for apps on iOS and Android devices+ Understanding of software quality control paradigms and testing pyramids+ Strong knowledge in Continuous Integration and Continuous delivery+ Understanding of testing strategy paradigm: unit testing, integration testing, E2E testing, and how to apply each of them into different engineering phase to pursue quality control+ Ability to own technical initiatives in tools domain, deriving design specifications, proof of concept, code implementation+ Familiar with SQL or NoSQL database and able to fluently use complex queries to debug or report by collecting data+ Strong written and verbal communication skills**Minimum Qualifications:**+ BS/BA degree in a technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of experience+ 3+ years of industry software development experience or automation testing experience in either iOS or Android**Preferred Qualifications:**+ Industry development experience with: Kolin, Java, Python, C, Objective-C, and/or Swift+ Experience with software automation tools, such as xcuitest for iOS automation or espresso for Android+ Experience with software design and architect workflowAt Snap, we believe that having a team of diverse backgrounds and voices working together will enable us to create innovative products that improve the way people live and communicate.
