KFSN-TV/ABC30 Action News, the ABC Owned Television station in Central California, is seeking a full-time Sports Multi-skilled Journalist.
The ideal candidate will shoot, write and edit sports stories for the stations top-rated newscasts and digital platforms.
This person will also be responsible for line-producing the stations weekly Sunday night sports show.
This person must be organized, and work well under pressure and constant deadlines.
We want someone who is receptive to feedback, and brings a positive attitude every day.
Responsibilities : Shoot, write, and edit sports stories and local games.
Line produce Sunday night sports show.
Field report live from various sporting events.
Anchor for Sports Director and Weekend Sports Anchor as needed.
Basic Qualifications : Minimum of 3 years of experience are required.
This is not an entry level position.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Dalet and Adobe Premiere are a plus.
Knowledge of the Central Valley and bilingual skills are a plus.
