In this vital role you will be part of Amgen’s Global Commercial Operations Digital, Technology, & Innovation (GCO DTI) organization as a member of the Product team that supports US Coverage, Contracting and Pricing.

You will you work alongside Solution Architects, Engineers, and Business Analysts to design, build and scale data and analytics products, all while learning and growing your career and skills.

Bring product capabilities to life by translating concepts and ideas to software features.

Implement the Product architecture and design by developing, testing, deploying prioritized features of Coverage & Pricings Deal Modeling, Forecasting and Analytics Product on GCOs AWS Data Lake, Anaplan and Tableau platforms Build expertise in the broad set of data-related technologies, including Data Storage (AWS S3), Cloud Compute (AWS EC2), Highly Performant Data Warehouses (AWS Redshift), Data Engineering and Analytics (Databricks, Spark), Orchestration (Airflow, Jenkins), and Reporting / Data Visualization Tools (Tableau).

Continuously advance team and stakeholder adoption of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Work closely in a client-facing role with a cross-functional team of DTI platform and product stakeholders including business users, data scientists, data engineers, and analysts to advance the product feature set Handle end-to-end requirements for development work, and management of backlog including tracking dependencies, risks, and decisions Assist with coordination of product team’s work when there are dependencies on other Amgen teams or external business partners Win What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.

The data professional we seek is an engineer with these qualifications.

Basic Qualifications: Masters degree Or Bachelors degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience Or Associates degree and 6 years of Information Systems experience Or High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Information Systems experience Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on working experience retrieving data using complex SQL queries and building ETL logic and data pipelines Hands-on working experience with AWS technologies (S3, EC2, Redshift, Spectrum).

Hands-on working experience with Tableau (preferred) or similar Analytics or BI platforms Intermediate expertise in Python (preferred), Scala, or R Exposure to repository/versioning tools such as GitHub Working experience in Agile (Scrum) teams with a solid understanding of software development framework and methodologies Certification in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with prior experience working with large sets of data to derive insights Passion for innovation and data, and a “can-do” attitude Thrive Some of the vast rewards of working here As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates professional and personal growth and well-being.
