As one of the nation’s largest legal staffing providers, Hire Counsel has an immediate opportunity for a Litigation Paralegal to work with a Los Angeles based litigation powerhouse made up of former federal prosecutors, public defenders, big firm alumni, and judicial clerks. Given the firm is headed by several former partners from the world of Big Law, they expect good work, they also pride themselves on a strong work-life balance.
*Responsibilities: *
* Collect, analyze, organize, and maintain trial-related information and documentation
* Prepare and organize trial-related witnesses and information to facilitate attorney/court access and minimize preparation time
* Manage discovery process, including document production
* Assist in all aspects of trial preparation
*Qualifications: *
* 5 plus years’ ligation paralegal experience required
* 4-year college degree or a paralegal certificate
* Federal and state trial experience
* Superior communication and organizational abilities, self-starter and detail-oriented, have an enthusiastic and energetic team attitude, and able to work extended hours when necessary
* Poise and the ability to thrive in a challenging environment is essential

* Expected Schedule: 40 hours a week with overtime as needed
