What You Will Be Doing The new Albertsons Media Collective Sales (AMC) and Account Management team has an opening for a Sales Director.
This role is location free, but should be in proximity to one of our Corporate or Division offices.
This Sales Director will be responsible for selling in our new AMC toolkit to clients, and building and executing client annual marketing plans to support joint business growth with clients in the categories they represent.
They will work to build strategic and trusting relationships with approx.
15-25 clients focused on driving joint business through the power of performance marketing.
The sales director will also build out a best in class sales and account team, define the daily team operating model, drive consistency with overall team selling, and also set up any relevant processes for cross functional teams.
We are looking for a strong, collaborative, and driven sales leader who is passionate about clients, excellent customer service, selling performance marketing solutions, and driving joint business with strong ROI’s.
This leader will need to be familiar with retail media tools, capabilities, and our general selling motion.

We are looking for top talent with industry experience who can help us to quickly achieve our vision, to build an awesome team culture, and to have fun while we do it Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Be the overall category business owner and help define business growth and your annual sales goals including robust building block exercises.
· Build and maintain strong trusting and strategic business partnerships and relationships with your clients marketing and sales teams.
· Deliver and exceed your annual sales goals for clients you own and also support your sales team to deliver their total category sales goals as well.
· Oversee all team and account relationships and ensure they are being built and maintained in accordance with total RMN team direction.
· Collaborate with clients and merchandising leadership to sell in and to build rolling annual marketing plans
– to include establishing initial annual plans, budgets, and KPI’s across top strategic priorities.
· Partner with the Sales Operations Director and Finance to proactively track, report, and forecast business progress vs.
goals monthly, quarterly, and annually.
· Proactively educate and sell both local client shopper teams and corporate brand teams on our tools and capabilities to drive joint business.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record in marketing.
MBA preferred.
· 8 years in a client relationship and sales role with solution selling experience.
· 4 years of digital marketing experience for both on and off platform tools and capabilities.
· Extensive experience and proven track record of selling, building holistic plans, delivering excellent customer service, and executing annual plans with top clients to achieve strong results and to deliver annual sales goals.
· Strong ability to build trusting, collaborative partnerships internally and externally across all levels and functions.
· History of strong sales leadership and collaboration across functions and levels.
· Thorough understanding of digital advertising sales practices, sales cycles, and fee structures.
· Proven track record of sales forecasting and/or financial modeling
· Excellent quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills.
· Proven track record of building strategic plans, executing with excellence, and driving significant results and exceeding KPI’s/goals.
· May require some travel to our corporate offices travel, and trade show travel.
