2021 At-Risk Youth Skills Trainer-Hanson HouseFacilitates daily residential program components, including support for daily living tasks, assisting with treatment objectives, participating in recreational events, facilitating various treatment activities (step study, talking circles, life histories, challenge course activities), and sharing in the therapeutic group process.

Observes, participates in and supports classroom sessions in the area of chemical dependency.

Participates as a member of the treatment team including attending treatment team meetings.

Provides support for counseling in the area of chemical dependency and fulfills primary responsibilities as assigned.

Models appropriate behavior at all times when working with students.

Maintains appropriate documents in a confidential manner and logs daily student activities as outlined in the program policies and procedures.

Receives close review of any documentation by professional staff.

Participates in career development activities, attends formal and informal substance abuse and addiction training, studies treatment theories and practices.
