Japanese Bilingual Store Associate

Position: Japanese Bilingual Store Associate – Retail
Classification: Non-Exempt
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Shift Schedule: 10:45am – 7:45pm or 11:15am – 8:15pm, including weekends
Hourly Rate: $17.00 – $20.00 hour

International retail company is looking for a Japanese Bilingual Store Associate in Los Angeles, CA. This position responsible for providing a great customer experience as well as ensuring the store is neat, clean, and well-presented always. Qualified candidate must speak/read/write Japanese fluently. 

Responsibilities 

  • Ensure all store procedure is correctly handing based on company compliance standards.
  • Secure a consistent, seamless, and positive customer experience. 
  • Perform register sales transactions quickly and accurately with established cash control procedures. 
  • Provide support to fellow employees through sharing of knowledge, helping to complete tasks and/or assisting in customer interactions. 
  • Resolve customer concerns with customer satisfaction in mind and escalate any issue to store manager. 
  • Develop and arrange promotional material and in-store displays. 
  • Open and close the store, ensuring the safety of employees and customers. 
  • Other duties assigned. 

Qualifications: 

  • Japanese skills – must speak/read/write Japanese fluently. 
  • Minimum one year retail experience.
  • Basic MS Office skills
