Aircraft Guard

Job Description: Aircraft Guard Purpose : To ensure compliance with TSA and customer guidelines.

L1-Door Guarding Duties: The Security officer will be stationed at the base of the L-1 door to visibly check and verify all identification and to ensure everyone entering the aircraft is authorized.

(Ramp Crew, Federal Agencies, Catering, Cleaners, Maintenance, etc.) Security officer will sign in and verify, per the NCA flight crew roster, that every flight crewmember is authorized and cleared to access the aircraft along with attaining their ID number.

Security officer will record the date, flight number and aircraft registration in the provided Aircraft Inspection Checklist.

Security officer will sign their names at the bottom of the Aircraft Inspection Checklist.

Security officer will remain until L-1 Door is closed and stairs are pushed back away from the aircraft.

Security officer will give the completed paperwork to NCA after the flight is done.

Perimeter Guarding Duties: TCSC shall search lower deck cargo compartments and wheel wells under ACISP Section 10.3 Aircraft Searches using methods set forth in section 10.3.1.B & C
– Search Measures TCSC will monitor around the aircraft to ensure no unauthorized persons are in the area.

Security officer will challenge and log everyone and have them produce proper identification before boarding the aircraft (Ramp Crew, Federal Agencies, Catering, Cleaners, Maintenance, Fueler, etc.) Security officer will sign in and verify, per the NCA flight crew roster, that every flight crewmember is authorized and cleared to access the aircraft along with attaining their ID number.

Passengers must present a boarding pass, travel coupon and passport.

Security officer is to search every crew member and passenger’s luggage and wand their persons prior to boarding the aircraft.

Security officer will record the date, flight number and aircraft registration in the provided Perimeter Inspection Checklist.

Security officer will sign their names at the bottom of the Perimeter Inspection Checklist.

Security officer will give the completed paperwork to NCA after the flight is done.

TCSC will remain until aircraft has pushed back from cargo area In the event of emergencies or suspicious activities, tampering, pilferage during loading/offloading and/or persons will be reported immediately to Security Manager and NCA representative immediately.
