Labor Relations Specialist

We are currently seeking a Labor Relations Specialist to work at our 400 Broadway location.

Position Summary: The Labor Relations Specialist is responsible for handling the various activities for union staff as well as various other employee relations and HR generalist duties.

The Labor Relations Specialist will work with the other members of the human resources team to ensure a strong customer-focused HR dept.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related experience; 2-3 years’ experience working with union (1199 preferred); Knowledge of labor relations principles and practices; Experience working with Collective Bargaining Agreements; Strong computer skills, including HRIS (ADP preferred), MSOffice; Current SHRM-SCP or PHR credentials strongly preferred; Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a team relationship to meet the objectives of the department.
