The ER Specialist will drive an effective Positive Employee Relations culture by actively partnering with the Head of PER, the HR Business Partners, FAL Site HR, and Senior leadership in order to deliver on the promise that Airbus provides a safe, positive and productive work environment for all of its employees.Primary Responsibilities:Act as Front-Line Focal for Airbus Positive Employee Relations Strategy: Drive Airbus FAL values and culture with managers and business leaders, working daily to ensure that our ideals and culture are understood and incorporated into all employee interactionsSupport Head of PER/HRBPs in managing 2-way, direct relationship with FAL personnel and service suppliers for employee relations purposesAddress and resolve all employee relations matters quickly and effectively through established and to be developed meansFacilitate, at a tactical level, the feedback loop on ER issues to the Head of FAL HR and the rest of senior management through utilizing established PER strategic processesFacilitates understanding of key production pay systems wage progression, bonus, benefits, and development plansMaintains current knowledge and awareness of immediate HR issues: internal policies and practices, state and federal employment regulations, public social issues, and current interpersonal/team dynamics Support active floor sensing efforts to capture the overall site morale and engagement levelParticipate in the PER HRBP committee to create and implement best practices Support North America PER team on special projects related to the Mobile, AL FAL and across the regionIncident and Conflict Resolution:FAL HRBP Support: Assist with New Hire Orientation as face of PER Support difficult conversations when requested by HRBPsReview and support consequential management processOccasionally Support HR during recruitment efforts as the face of PER Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned: Qualified Experience / Skills / Training: Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, labor relations or related fieldSeeking MBA or MS/MPS in ILR, HRM, or similar Preferred Experience:2 years engaged in HR, Management, Labor Relations, Compliance or Legal with an emphasis in labor issuesExperience conducting investigations and managing difficult conversationsExperience working with both hourly and salaried employeesAerospace industry experience preferredExperience in a manufacturing environment preferredExperience working for a complex, international organization preferredLicensure/Certifications:SHRM-CP or PHR’ PreferredCertification in Labor Relations or Employee Relations Law’ PreferredKnowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:Knowledge of employment and labor law including EEO, FMLA, FLSA, etc.
