The HR coordinator duties include assisting with the new hire process, maintaining employee records and providing benefits and job description information to both new and existing employees.

The HR coordinator reports to the HR manager.Duties and Responsibilities:
– Enter data in the HRIS system and maintain the HRIS system-Coordinates the on-boarding process, including scheduling, account set up, and collecting of all required new hire paperwork.

-Prepares new employee file and maintains employee’s file and ensures files meet compliance standards.

-Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.

-Runs online background checks and collects LiveScan results.

-Collects TB test results and vaccination records-Insures that employees’ licenses and NPI numbers are up to date and that licensures are uninterrupted.

-Processes employee status changes in the HRIS.

-Assists with processing of terminations.

-Collects Stay Interviews and Exit Interviews data and compiles data.

-Assists with the collection of the performance review process.

-Assists HR Manger with recruitment strategy.

In particular, tracks status of candidates in HRIS, sends out follow-up emails at the end of the recruiting process; distributes the internal job posting lists to all staff on a semi-monthly.

May participate to phone screening and reference checks-Assists HR team during open enrollment.

– Maintains the Orientation roaster and participates in a portion of orientation.

-Compiles, formats, edits and dispatches a monthly bulletin.

Checks the suggestion box and brings requests to HR meetings.

– Manages the referral program, develops a tracker and collaborates with the finance department to insure the payment of the referrers.

– Collaborate with HR/Admin team to coordinate Employee Recognition events.

Administer the Employee recognition platform,-Takes on projects as needed to support the HR team.

– Places purchasing orders for the HR department.

– Creates, maintains, and updates a HR Coordinator Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) document.

– Provides coverage for the front desk 9-10 am daily and as needed.

– Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).Administrative experience: insurance reconciliation, filing, organizing.Preferred Education and Experience Previous HR experience.SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential.Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position.

Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m.

Eligible for hybrid workTravel Local travel to various worksites is required.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance Employees must pass a background check and receive TB and health clearances prior to employment.
