Japanese Bilingual Marketing Assistant
Reports to: SVP, Sales and Marketing Division
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Downtown Los Angeles – Onsite/Hybrid)
FLSA: Full-time, Exempt
Working Hours: 9am-6pm 

OVERVIEW:
A global IT company with advanced technologies is seeking an experienced Marketing Assistant to join their growing team. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for producing sales and marketing materials, prepare presentation documents, research industry trends, and gather client data and input it into our database. You will also assist with event planning, scheduling, and other administrative tasks, as necessary. The ideal candidate has previous marketing experience and is self-motivated to complete tasks on a deadline with little supervision.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO: 
•             Perform the day-to-day supporting tasks to coordinate and execute the company’s marketing activities. 
•             Conduct and analyze market and client research to better understand the needs in the market and target audience as well as comparative analysis of company performance in the market.
•             Manage and execute marketing campaigns (traditional and digital); facilitate marketing events such as seminars, webinars, and networking sessions.
•             Apply marketing analytics techniques to gather key data in both statistical, financial, and non-financial information; update spreadsheets and databases for the measurement of marketing performance.
•             Gathering data on campaign success, often through collecting audience feedback on surveys, and produce consumer evaluation reports.
•             Develop and review promotional presentations and marketing materials (i.e. brochures, slide decks, press releases, online content) to enhance the company’s presence in the marketplace.
•             Assist in planning brand and marketing initiatives and strategy.
•             Other duties and projects as requested by Management.


QUALIFICATIONS
•             Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication or a related field.
•             2+ years of experience in marketing. (Especially research analysis, database management, and/or CRM tools experience)
•             Bilingual in Japanese and English (reading/writing/ speaking).
•             Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites (PowerPoint).
