Outside Sales Specialist

Job Summary The field sale specialist is responsible for the growth of revenue by proactive sales of our products in the assigned territory and developing strong customer relations according to the organizational strategy.

The field sales specialist works with customers to ensure a smooth sales process and frequently visit the area of service he or she manages.

The job requires meeting new prospects in their work environment and outside sales will comprise a main part of sales activities.

Role and Responsibilities
· Develop new business leads and manage existing relationships to achieve sales goals for the assigned accounts/territory
· Build customer relationships that enhance our position and profitability
· Conduct sales development best practices with email, phone, and social drips using enablement
· Utilize prospecting and research tools to connect new leads and qualify opportunities
· Perform all sales activities, from quotation to after-sales services
· Strategize with team members to innovate and improve the overall inside sales process
· Work within the sales team and collaborate with other internal departments
· Exercise administrative responsibility for required reports to management and entries into Salesforce
· Frequent client visits within territory will be required Qualifications and Education Requirements
· B.S.

in biology or life sciences, advanced degrees accepted
· 1-3 years of business development or sales experience in selling life sciences research reagents or equipment
· Ability to interface with customer counterparts, and build customer loyalty
· Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, organizational, and planning skills
· Strong work ethic with confidence to work autonomously
· Passion for sales, and be a self-starter
· Highly motivated to succeed both individually and with a young and fast-growing company
