– 151Primary Purpose:The Talent Acquisition Specialist works collaboratively with other members of the Talent Team to deliver talent acquisition services for assigned positions.

The Specialist represents the organization to prospective candidates and functions as their point of contact.

Develops candidate pipelines utilizing a variety of sources to include direct sourcing, networking, and social media.

Builds and maintains key stakeholder relationships with potential candidates, applicants, and hiring supervisor.

Consider joining our dynamic team.Essential Functions:Represents the organization for prospective candidates; a key point of contact for talent acquisition activities.Assists hiring supervisors to identify expectations, clarify process and provide regular updates.Promotes recruiting strategies specific to assigned positions, using designated resources to identify and attract quality candidates.

Utilizes employment branding practices, tactical outreach and referral generation, corporate events, job fairs, networking, hiring initiatives, and pipelining efforts.Sources, identifies, recruits and screens potential candidates, conducts interviews, administers appropriate assessments, checks references, and communicates offers of employment for both exempt and non-exempt position openings as assigned.Manages candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).Collaborates with internal team members to promote and facilitate hiring needs.Cultivates and maintains excellent relationships and consistent communication with candidates and hiring supervisors to promote teamwork and credibility.Helps establish priorities, manage deadlines and exercise a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of internal and external clients.Maintains established performance criteria with respect to quality, process efficiency, productivity and speed.Ensures a remarkable candidate experience.Helps drives strong satisfaction ratings with customers, hiring supervisors and managers, applicants, candidates and other leaders in the organization.Ensures compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations.Other duties as assignedPhysical and Other Requirements:Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.Mobility: The person in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Communicate: Frequently communicate with others.PPE: Biohazard laboratory environment that requires use of personal protective equipment in accordance with CDC and OSHA regulations and company policies.

ARUP Policies and Procedures: To conduct self in compliance with all ARUP Policies and Procedures.Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
