Position Summary The Sr.
Systems Administrator is accountable for driving results in a demanding, fast-paced environment by ensuring the stability of the Alcami server, storage and cloud environment.
This is a Microsoft Azure cloud, Citrix cloud, and cloud VDI heavily focused position.
The position requires superior leadership behaviors of the Alcami core competencies and non-negotiables, as well as expertise in functional competencies included in this position profile.
Essential Functions Deploy and manage scalable systems designed with high availability within Microsoft Azure.
Create and maintain cloud instances, storage and other cloud services within Microsoft Azure.
Microsoft Office 365 and Azure cloud administration, including MFA, Intune and Windows Hello.
Administer on premise Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Group Policy and other Microsoft Windows services.
Manage VMware vCenter server and ESXi hosts and virtual machines.
Manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment including Citrix Cloud and Citrix Gateway.
Manage Azure Virtual Desktops and VMware Horizon Virtual Desktop environments.
Manage storage systems, including NetApp, Nimble and Azuze Storage Administer and maintain backup systems for data backup and recovery.
Manage disaster recovery platforms and perform periodic disaster recovery testing.
Perform system monitoring and system tuning.
Establishes and maintains server documentation, SOPs and procedures.
Ensures timely completion and compliance with cGMP and all other relevant company training requirements.
Coaches and mentors IT Staff.
Communicates with Senior Leadership and staff members.
Education and Experience Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
9 years experience in systems administration required.
3 yrs.
in Azure Cloud Architecture / Administration Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification preferred.
Microsoft MCSE, VMware and/or CompTIA certifications required.

Working knowledge of cGMP in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
