The Position
We are looking for a Director to join our dynamic HR team. This role will support in the companys success by providing tactical support and strategic consulting on the people process and strategy. We are seeking someone who has a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement for employee-centered solutions and programs. Reporting directly to our Global Chief Talent Officer, you will work in close collaboration to enhance the overall A+P employee experience.
What Youll Do
Implement, administer, and manage HR policies and programs within our employees lifecycle start-to-finish.
Act as a strategic thought partner and advisor on compensation and benefits management.
Serve as a resource for employees and leaders relating to employee relations issues; provide thoughtful support, advice and resolution while handling risk and maintaining compliance with regulatory/legal requirements and company policies/procedure.
Nurture strong relationships with cross-functional partners and serve as a trusted advisor on all people related matters.
Partner with the DEI team to support the implementation of company-wide DEI initiatives.
Work closely with leaders and employees to identify trends, ideate solutions, and implement change resulting in the improvement of relationships, agency morale, and employee engagement and retention.
Provide guidance to managers and supervisors on performance improvement plans.
Conduct employee exit interviews; identify trends and bring solutions to the Global Chief Talent Officer.
Serve as the back-up to our Global Payroll Director.
Ensure legal compliance with all Federal, State, CDC, local laws and regulations, in addition to compliance with company policies and procedures.
What Youll Need
Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, payroll, benefits, employee relations and training and development.
Experience as a progressive HR Manager with a focus on employee relations.
Strong diversity and inclusion acumen and passion for the integration of DEI practices in ER.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
Proven track record of assessing situations and creating innovative solutions.
Excellent coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills, including stellar communication, empathy, collaboration, case handling, and project management.
Proven ability to interact and build relationships effectively at all levels within the organization, including senior management, with the ability to coach/motivate others.
Ability to quickly shift gears from high-level strategy to tactical work.
Experience providing HR support to UK and Germany is a plus.
