Rail and Transit Market Sector Leader

Arcadis is seeking a transformational leader in the transit industry to grow its project delivery practice. The Rail and Transit Market Sector Leader can be located anywhere in the United States with a preference for California, Texas, or Florida.

Role description:
In this role you will develop and lead implementation of strategy to expand Arcadis passenger rail and transit market sector. These core services include capital project planning, design, project and construction management, enterprise asset management, and new mobility especially as relates to electric vehicles.
Role accountabilities:
Help Arcadis expand our presence in the transit market and connect with new clients to build from our regional success in program, project, and construction management of large capital projects.
Help Arcadis expand its services with existing transit clients by leveraging our global expertise and talent across all areas of capital project planning, design, and delivery as well as professional consulting in support of asset management, and transition to fleet electrification.
Focus on a client-centric approach and will: engage with clients directly and provide key understanding of their needs at all levels
support teams to tailor solutions that best support our clients
deliver sustainable solutions that exceed client expectations
encourage adaptation and application of innovative solutions
Lead and support key account managers for all of our transit clients in the US and Canada.
Help Arcadis recruit and develop local resources to best serve clients.
Collaborate with Arcadis Global Solutions Leader for Intelligent Rail and Urban Transport. Similarly, collaborate with global peers within the UK, Australia, Netherlands, Germany, France, and Belgium.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
25+ years of progressively increasing experience relevant to the role described above
Key Attributes and Skills:
Would have excellent working relationships with and access to peers in the passenger rail, and rail and bus transit industry
Would have a deep understanding of the evolving transit industry in North America
Would have held executive leadership positions within public transit agencies in North America
Would be an active leader within the American Public Transportation Association (APTA)
Would have significant experience in understanding transit agency needs in delivering passenger rail, rail transit and high-capacity bus transit projects
