Specific Responsibilities Would Include

Joe’s Jeans is looking for a Senior Account Executive based in Los Angeles to manage our Womens Majors & Major Specialty accounts. We are seeking a dynamic, creative and passionate candidate who knows and loves denim. The responsibilities will include understanding our customer’s objectives, building strong relationships, growing existing account base and generating new business. The candidate must analyze, forecast, and project seasonal/annual account sales goals. This position is responsible for managing all facets of the sales process within their established Omni retail channels. This candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability through active selling, merchandising, and an in-depth understanding of each individual business while maintaining Brand integrity. Must achieve sales goals annually through strong account management.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of retail partnership and product assortment plan to maximize retail performance
  • Prepare annual seasonal Sales projections by account, and review opportunities for season over season growth and ensure meeting overall sales goals.
  • Manage and analyze 6-month flows based on buyers sales plans, by door plans, and vendor margin plans.
  • Negotiate seasonal profitability. Build creative strategies to support healthiest EOS solutions.
  • Request future season sales/receipt plans to ensure consistent growth season to season.
  • Retrieve and report sales performance weekly/monthly/seasonally.
  • Analyze weekly style selling to communicate retail trends, sales performance, and competitive market position.
  • Prepare for appointments with detailed prep sheets, style selling history, specific door performance, seasonal selling trends, and all strategies needed to hit sales targets.
  • Maintain and foster close professional relationships with all retailer partners to generate new sales, inclusive of creative event ideas, eblasts to create the most Brand visibility.
  • Obtain necessary authorizations to maintain order integrity (order confirmations, modifications, discounts, rtv/swaps, terms etc.)
  • Collaborate with Director of Sales/Visual Merchandising/Marketing and buying team to generate new sales programs: in store incentives, selling contest, event ideas, and email blasts to create Hudson buzz
  • Provide weekly status updates to Director of Sales, discuss needs, challenges, and where we are to goal expectations.
  • Coordinate special requests from accounts with design and production
  • Work with buyer to approve advertising vehicles each season.
  • Track replenishment, and update assortments when appropriate to maximize real estate and performance. This includes negotiating additional funding for fast tracks, additions, swaps, etc.
  • Develop and foster internal relationships within Joe’s Jeans
  • Serve as an Ambassador (product expert, communication of company direction, policies, marketing plans and in-store merchandising standards)

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • 5+ years experience in apparel sales environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible in shifting priorities
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Must be solution oriented and proactive with the ability to effectively resolve any issues/challenges
  • Outstanding Excel skills and Microsoft Word
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proficient in PowerPoint
  • Creative self-starter, with strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure on multiple projects at different stages of completion, while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work individually and in a group
  • Demonstrate exemplary follow through and execution
  • Travel visiting key accounts and markets in Dallas, Las Vegas, NY
