Budget Director

Overview:JOB SUMMARY:Manages departmental budget to ensure efficient execution of projects in accordance with approved scope, budget andcompliance with internal and external guidelines.Responsibilities:KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:Manages Capital and R& M budgets for Director Facilities while providing support to Regional FacilitiesManagers.Manages larger scale capital projects that encompass entire zone or multiple zones.Works with Regional Facilities and Area Facilities Managers to determine and document the scope of work on allassigned projects.Maintains financial responsibility; monitors and compares estimated final cost to approved project cost andreports any projected overruns to Management in a timely manner.Evaluates contractor and consultant bids/proposals and assists with selection criteria.This role will be supporting the Western US CA/AZ/NV/UT/OR/WA zones.Qualifications:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr DegreeYEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5+ yearsYEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 3+ yearsSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Prior experience in FacilitiesProject Management experienceStrong facilitation and negotiation skillsExcellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issuesGood understanding of intra-department functions and OperationsThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by the individualsassigned to this job.
