For over 40 years, LinQuest has been a leader in space systems technology solutions for U.S. defense and intelligence communities. We have an opportunity for the Space Digital Ecosystem & Integration (SpaceDEN) Program Manager in El Segundo, CA to support the Horizon 2 Program.
SMC s portfolio of programs are designed to gain, maintain and exploit space superiority in areas including space launch, global positioning, military space vehicle communications, defense meteorological space vehicles, range systems, space vehicle control networks, space-based infrared systems, and space situational awareness capabilities.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Present the benefits of Digital Engineering solutions to the customer for approval and facilitate the implementation of Digital Engineering solutions selected in support of customer activities.
* Responsible for identifying and implementing Digital Engineering solutions that are beneficial to the primary activities of SpaceDEN. To this end, the Program Manager should have a strong background in Digital Engineering implementation activities.
* Direct and manage a complex software integration, test, and demonstration program, SpaceDEN, in coordination with the SpaceDEN Digital Engineering Architect.
* Accountable for the delivery of program reports, financial up-dates, and other deliverables as set forth in the contract.
* Interface across Space Systems Command organizations to include Special Programs, Enterprise Corps, the SSC Integration Office, and others.
* Serve as the primary customer interface for the design, buildout, accreditation, and activation of the SpaceDEN facility, IT infrastructure, and Modeling, Simulation, & Analysis (MS&A) environment from the Unclassified to TS/SCI and SAP levels.
* Travel up to 20%, as needed, to support customer engagements, interfacing with U.S. Space Force Executives, interacting with Pentagon Officials, and presenting to Congressional Staffers.
*Required Education and Experience:*
* 18 years of direct experience managing a complex software integration, test, and demonstration program.
* Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field
* *Active Top Secret clearance with in-scope SSBI/T5* and have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI for Special Programs. Must be willing to consent to a Poly.
* Five (5) years of experience in a Program Manager (or Deputy Program Manager) role in support of a PEO program office or similar DOD organization, working on ACAT programs
* Direct experience managing the design, build, accreditation, and activation of a SCIF/SAPF with external SAP network connectivity.
* Coordinating capability deliveries across multiple government agencies.
* Experience interacting with Government Executives at the Space Force, Air Force, Pentagon, and Congressional levels.
* Proven track record of delivering capabilities within cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
* Expert level written and verbal communication skills
*Desired Education and Experience:*
* Demonstrated expertise providing innovative solutions in Digital Engineering
* Recognized leader in Digital Engineering (DE)/Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) with demonstrated experience developing DE solutions to support customers and proposals
* Experience developing a Digital Engineering Ecosystem
* Experience in Software Development
* Demonstrated leadership capability to organize and lead teams
* Expert level written and verbal communication skills
