National Law firm with expertise in business litigation has an immediate opening for a Litigation Paralegal with extensive knowledge in practice areas such as commercial, complex, and employment litigation in our dynamic, collaborative, and nationally awarded professional.
If you have a passion for business litigation we want to interview you. You must have experience with legal documents and court filing rules. You must have experience with pre-litigation procedures, preparation of complex discovery and trial exhibits
Duties Include:
- Performs electronic research using PACER, court websites, Westlaw, and Lexis in addition to Shepardizing and Bluebooking citations
- Superior ability to cite check and proofread briefs
- Overall understanding and implementation of the EDRM model, FRCP focused on E-Discovery and the litigation practice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to apply problem-solving skills and work under minimal supervision
- Provide world-class customer service to all levels of internal and external clients
- Capacity to perform well under stressful circumstances and adapt to changing work priorities, workflow, and work assignments
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently and efficiently organize large amounts of documents
Required:
Four (4) year college degree
Paralegal Certificate and five (5) years of previous Paralegal experience
