Akkar is working with an EV OEM based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our client is looking for a Senior System Engineer BMS Engineer to set out the entire system architecture.
The ideal candidate will have experience both gathering and developing requirements, working closely with numerous internal stakeholders including engineers on BMS, firmware engineers, functional safety, controls and battery algorithms engineers. This is a highly cross functional role but remains at a high level.
Requirements
– 5+ years of experience for complete lifecycle development of complex products
– Experience with BMS and EV Powertrain
– Good understanding of ISO 26262 functional safety
– Familiar with embedded systems development workflow
– Experience with methods such as FMEA and fault tree analysis
– Proficiency in C/C++ or Matlab / Simulink
