– Friday, Day Shift Location: 3100 E Fletcher Ave, Tampa, FL 33613 The community you’ll be caring for: Opportunity to Work at Over 150 Different Locations across Central Florida with Multiple Medical Specialties such as: Behavioral Health Cardiovascular Dermatology Diabetes and Endocrinology Digestive Health Neurology Oncology Orthopedics Pediatrics – Primary Care and Specialty Services Primary Care/Family Medicine Surgical Specialties Urology Vascular Health Weight Loss Women’s Care/OBGYN The role you’ll contribute: The Medical Assistant, under general supervision, provides appropriate care to patients as well as follows AdventHealth service standards.
This includes safely and effectively greeting patients, obtaining clinical information, financial and demographic information.
Responsible for assisting providers during treatment and examination and may assist with procedures and medication administration as ordered by the provider.
Performs office duties as needed, which includes but is not limited to, verifying insurance, collecting copays, and scheduling necessary appointments.
