This is a startup environment, so this means you’ll be wearing a lot of hats and must be a team player.(br((br(What will you be doing?(br((ul((li(Directly participates in key initiatives and strategies to continually improve the quality and efficiency of systems and reporting(/li((li(Responsible for overall accounting operations for the organization(/li((li(Demonstrates strategic thinking in planning for the organization’s short-term and long-term financial future and short term needs(/li((li(Overseeing multi-state compliance / assisting with HR and payroll(/li((li(Optimizing structure for international (AR/AP)(/li((li(Manage bookkeeping and assist with tax preparation (/li((li(Managing vendor-partner reporting relationships (/li((li(Establish systems for better banking in Canada(br((br((/li((/ul(What you’re bringing to the table?(br((ul((li(5+ years of experience in relevant accounting / financial role(/li((li(Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fields(/li((li(Extremely detail-oriented(/li((li(A startup mode mentality(/li((li(Must be self-driven, someone who excels at multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude(/li((li(A desire to win and be part of a dynamic team(br((br((/li((/ul(Bonus points:(br((ul((li(A Master’s degree and or CPA are not required but are preferred(/li((li(Vacation rental industry experience (or real estate)(/li((li(Based in Los Angeles(/li((li(Familiarity with using various software stacks including Slack, HubSpot, Asana, and/or Confluence(br((br((/li((/ul(What are the perks and benefits:(br((ul((li(Salary: $100k
