Alexander Design is seeking an Interior Design Intern.Hours: Part-time or full-timeType: HybridPaid InternshipTYPICAL DUTIESPerform design or organizational duties as directed by the project team leader.Perform digital drafting.Interface with other project team members on drafting coordination assignments.Assist Project Designers and Project Managers in the execution of specific assignmentsPrepare presentations and documentation for schematic design, design development and construction documentsWork on research for product and construction methods related to projectsSKILL, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEDegree in Interior Design or related field or current enrollment in an Architecture or Interior Design program or industry experienceGood written and verbal communication skills.Computer literacy requiredCAD and Sketchup required, Revit experience considered a plus.Self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible.Car and ability to drive in CaliforniaPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to use equipment for communication and documentation purposes.Visual acuity to perform responsibilities.
