Training & Development Director

Our client is a prominent telecommunications provider, offering users connectivity through wireless network, broadband, and Wi-Fi.

They’re looking to hire a Director of Growth Marketing to lead their digital marketing and growth strategy to deliver them to success.

The Training & Development Director will be responsible for developing the company’s most important asset: its employees.

Supported by senior leadership, the Training & Development Director will own training strategies and ensure alignment with overall company objectives.

Focus: Design and develop employee trainings that align with the company’s values and business goals.

Support employee development by spearheading program strategy, design, and implementation.

Own training and development strategies, including scope of programs, budgets, and more.

Partner with all levels of management in each department to ensure that all training activities, training plans and other training requirements are completed on time.

Develop and maintain participant and instructor materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, job aids, etc.) Monitor and evaluate training program, assess results, implement enhancements, and provide recommendations for training program effectiveness.

Communicate with management on progress and performance of trainees and provide reporting to all levels of management.

Research, develop, and implement a learning management system (LMS) to drive engagement, maximize performance, and ultimately benefit the overall company strategy.

Adhere to and enforce company policies and practices.

Skill Set: 5+ years of in a training capacity, with progressive leadership experience.

Background in the telecom/wireless industry beneficial.

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organization Development, or related field.

Management skillset with demonstrated success implementing training initiatives.

Expertise in both training and employee development best practices with the ability to support proper training and initiative implementation.

Prior experience developing training materials; proficiency in MS Office required.

Thorough knowledge of LMS’s and ability to develop and implement one.

Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills.

Can multitask with ease.

Excellent reporting and presentation skills a must.

Ability to speak to stakeholders from all aspects from business and add value to decision-making.

Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
