Lead, Verifications Specialist (DOT/FAA)

Your contributions will help us fulfill our mission of advancing the background screening experience through visibility and insights, empowering our clients to make smarter, unbiased decisions.The DOT/FAA Lead Verifications Specialist is primarily responsible for the organizational effectiveness in service delivery across the multiple functions of the Verifications Department with an emphasis on DOT (any mode of transportation) and/or FAA knowledge.

The Lead will be tasked with ensuring their team of primary focus as well as the department, is operating in an efficient manner to meet team goals.

The position requires strong attention to detail, ability to train and mentor team members, ability to meet aggressive deadlines, the tenacity to problem solve in a fast-paced environment and expertise to respond/resolve escalations professionally and effectively.

Responsibilities: Handle escalated issues, requests for information, and process clarificationsWork on email and phone communications; attend meetings as scheduledTake on project work as required and/or assignedWork with and manipulate data via excel to present metricsPresent information on professionally prepared PowerPoint decksContinually reevaluating current processes to ensure the best practice standardsFlexibility to meet the needs of the growing company and department Qualifications: A minimum of 1 years of experience is preferred for candidates for the role of Lead, DOT/FAA.

Experience/knowledge should include a broad understanding of DOT/FAA Regulations (any mode of transportation) and Policies related to covered employment, as well as specific knowledge of employment screening requirements for various covered positions, as defined by FAA regulations and applicable to DOT/FAA regulated employers (Accurate clients).High School Diploma or equivalent1-2 years of work experienceStrong verbal & written communication skillsStrong customer service, phone, and Internet research skillsAble to read from a script and type notes at the same timeAble to work in a high production environment meeting assigned quotasMinimum 40 wpm typing with accuracyKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook required) (Office 365 preferred), Internet, and ability to learn new technologyPrevious experience using proprietary software (preferred)Ability to foster communication across departments.Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.The Accurate Way:We offer a fun, fast-paced environment, with lots of room for growth.
