The incumbent will oversee the day-to-day management of IT vendor relationships, as well as the contract life-cycle management for the 3rd party vendors used by IT to ensure proper value alignment within SIE.
This role also has leadership and decision-making oversight of the contracts and vendor related to the business unit(s) they support, including processing contracts, invoices and vendor related documentation.
The person in this role will be responsible for creating and implementing new strategies, and improving existing processes, relating to vendor performance monitoring and contract life-cycle management.
Principle Duties / Responsibilities: (Summary list of typical duties and responsibilities of the job / essential functions)Collect, process paperwork for, and analyze contractual relationships within IT department; giving advice on relationship status, and creating reports based on vendor reception and outputsAnalyze technical skills of perspective vendors and evaluate scope of projects, with a vendor relationship requirementCreate and present vendor (including financial) reports and dashboards, and present them to stakeholders and leadershipGive guidance to staff in areas of Vendor/Contract ManagementEnter appropriate contract documents into systems used by multiple SIE management layers for accurate contract reviewDemonstrates ability to manage multiple concurrent vendor relationships and contracts for multi-disciplinary functions within ITDay to day responsibilities may include coordination and logistics of events, planning meetings, departmental meetings, etc.Required Knowledge / Skills: (Lists out the job skills that must be met to perform the position (i.E.
