Occasional in person training)Job Summary: The Assistant Media Buyer provides support to the National Broadcast group.

This position offers opportunities of growth and advancement while learning about media buying in the TV and radio space.

As a representative of the company and our clients, you will be a point of contact for internal planning teams, vendors, and others in the industry.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
· Develop a working knowledge of client’s goals, guidelines, and strategies
· Keep up to date on marketplace intel, industry trends and opportunities
· Train in the system (Strata) and other tools (Nielsen Answers, iSpot, eResolve, Google Docs, Teams, etc) available
· Become proficient in the buying process and managing client campaigns
· Communicate daily with vendors regarding plans, flowcharts and needs of our clients
· Track delivery of all buys and stay current with ratings delivery
· Review flowcharts and confirm media holds/orders
· Obtain and monitor all station confirmation (pre-logs/post-logs), make sure all contracts are in and checked
· Create and maintain current vendor contact list for group
· Review billing discrepancies and resolve in a timely manner
· Initiate and create the Creative Deadline Chart (CDC) when necessary
· Work with group to learn media buying and negotiation skills Qualifications:
· College Graduate required
· Strong written and verbal skills
· Detail oriented with strong attention to details and follow through
· Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
· Ability to be flexible and a team player
