is hiring and has an opportunity for PEM Operator on their 2nd shift fabrication team.
Hours will be 4:15 pm – 2:45 am Monday – Thursday.
Starting pay $18.00/hour (includes 2nd shift premium).Responsible for safe operation of pem and stamping press to meet quality and production requirements which includes the following duties:Key Accountabilities:Set-up and operation of the pem machine to manufacture parts using engineering prints, standard work instructions, and inspection procedures.Properly follows instructions as provided on routings and other job related materials to ensure correct pem parts.Verifies that the appropriate pem nuts, studs, or standoffs are being completed per print.
Visually inspects to ensure product hardware is secure and undamaged.Perform blanking, piercing, forming and flanging operations on heavy punch presses, as well as cut off stacking, piercing, forming, sizing, riveting and all operations on manual and automatic presses.Loads parts properly and use proper stock to make parts.Operation on heavy materials in standing position.Perform housekeeping and clean-up of press bed and work area.Completes first piece quality inspection requirements and completes required paperwork.Responsible for correct count and producing the proper number of parts.Identify and record parts produced.Entering/recording good quantity and scrap quantity in AX and completing hour x hour paperwork.Utilization of chemicals and lubricantsComply with PPE and 5S and all safety rules.Comply with standard work guidelines, process instructions and print specifications.Participate on Kaizen events and training as required.Other duties as assigned by manager or team leader.Position Competencies:HS graduate or equivalent.Solid work history.
