Our client is seeking a Legal Entity Controller to join their team ASAP. This is a hybrid role that will manage financial control and accounting functions & deliver consolidated view of the US legal entity accounting figures.
Description
- Deliver view of US legal entity’s accounting figures
- Interact with global partners to ensure co-ordination of all legal entity activities
- Improve and standardize reporting process
- Manage reports on balance sheets, work on capital variance, and provide reviews and analysis of accruals & deferred income
- Deliver standardization of revenue recognition, billing, reporting & month-end close processes
- Ensure IFRS & Group Accounting Policies are implemented
- Validate monthly/quarterly reconciliation
- Support in-house tax team with local tax compliance
Profile
- 5+ years applicable experience working in an Audit or Finance Manager capacity
- Able to work independently & interact with stakeholders
- IFRS & US GAAP technical accounting experience required
- Strong communication skills & ability to express technical concepts
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work flexible hours
- CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar qualifications required
- Bachelors in Accounting highly preferred
