DealerPolicy: Insurance Subject Matter Expert – Personal Lines – Remote

DealerPolicy is looking for a Personal Lines Subject Matter Expert to join the insurance sales team who will work to support and develop our Licensed Insurance Agents.Job OverviewAs the Subject Matter Expert, you will work in conjunction with the Director of Insurance to help support and train new and current agents on our personal lines insurance team.

You will provide ongoing technical training and support on DealerPolicy’s new products and services.

Your role will also help to identify knowledge gaps, trends and provide any additional training as needed.

Being the go-to insurance expert, you must have a high level of technical insurance knowledge, be highly organized and be able to manage a variety of personalities in a remote setting.Daily and Monthly ResponsibilitiesTrain and support Insurance Agents on new states and insurance carriersAct as subject matter expert in DealerPolicy’s product (Insurance and Dealership side) for all agents, as well as being responsible for keeping relevant on all product changes and enhancementsAssists Director of Insurance and Training Manager to identify additional and/or supplemental training needs for new and experienced agentsDeliver one-on-one training and mentoring to agents as needed to ensure employees are meeting quality standards and metricsEnsure that all standard operating materials and information are accurate, current, and comprehensive in order to guarantee the technical proficiency of all agentsKeep accurate and detailed records of issues and questionsIdentify learning gaps and opportunities for improvement with comprehension and development, in collaboration with the Director of InsuranceResponsible for staying current on all procedural, regulatory and process changes in order to properly support teamGuide employees to better efficiency and productivity within our workflow processesRequirementsMust have active property and casualty insurance License3+ years of relevant experience in property and casualty insurance industryStrong knowledge and grasp of property and casualty insurance fundamentals and state specific requirementsStrong interpersonal skills; must be able to foster positive working relationships with all members of staffExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to handle confidential informationStrong project management and planning skills, including an ability to multi-task and prioritizeMust be organized and detailed oriented with the highest level of technical accuracyProficient in computer skills and systems (Word, Excel, Access PowerPoint, AMS360, Docusign)Must be able to adapt to ever changing requirements within the organizationStrong sense of urgency for accomplishing tasks and meeting strict deadlinesBenefitsDealerPolicy offers a comprehensive Benefits Package, which includesMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceHealth Savings Account with company matchFSA, Dependent Care FSA and Commuter pre-tax benefitPTO allowance and holidays401(k) plan with company matchWorking remotelyPaid Volunteer hoursEEO Statement: DealerPolicy is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, genetic information, creed, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other protected status as defined by federal, state or local law.#PIQAgent
