Sr. ServiceNow Business Analyst

Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is looking for a Sr. ServiceNow Business Analyst to join our team to support our government clients. Job Responsibilities:

As a Sr. ServiceNow Business Analyst, you will:

  • Analyze and critique computer programs and systems or develops new programs.
  • Review user’s requests for new or modified computer programs to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, and computer capabilities, analyze and outline steps required to develop programs, using structured analysis and design, Plan, develop, test, and document computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.
  • Provide knowledge in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts or in translating business process needs into technical requirements.
  • Use available computer systems to support management’s quest for performance improvement to determine the most useful business solution.
  • Implement a comprehensive management plan for each project and hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress, Determine and document user requirements for business processes and abide by those requirements for future projects, reviews and analyzes information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes and procedures, provides expertise in, but not limited to, Configuration Management, Strategic Planning, Knowledge Management, Business Analysis and Technical Analysis.
  • Responsible for transitioning of existing organizations or project teams in accomplishing the organization’s goals or project activities and objectives through improved use of internet and other automated processes.
  • Support activity and data modeling, development of upgraded business methods, identification of best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements.
  • Provide group facilitation, interviewing, training, and additional forms of knowledge transfer. Serve as the key coordinator between customers and multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts and application of best practice including e-business practices.
  • Provide daily supervision and direction to other contractors on the team.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems, including encoding, debugging, and installing to support an organization’s application systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field
  • 7 years of experience in a related field as a business analyst or any IT-related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including presentation development) with customers and end-users, and team members
  • Excellent problem-solving and collaborative skills
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
