Senior Property Accountant – Comm. Real Estate

Eclectic real estate firm near west Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Accountant.  In this position the Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements and reconciling balance sheets.  The Senior Accountant will handle CAM reconciliations, review leases, analyze sub-general ledger statements, calculate straight line depreciation, and analyze monthly variances.  The Senior Accountant will also conduct month/quarter/year-end closes, G/L coding, assist with budget preparation and, as well as prepare tax filings. 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related discipline is required.
  • At least three years of commercial real estate accounting experience.
  • Yardi is extremely preferred.
  • Must have excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel is required.
