Boutique CPA firm is looking for a Tax Accountant for our firm! Come join our team and enjoy the small family boutique firm feel. Each member has their own office!
Job Description
- Works with a team of dedicated professionals delivering excellent tax services.
- Prepares tax returns for individuals and businesses such as Partnerships, C-Corp, S-Corp., LLP, LLC, Estates and Trusts.
- Participates in tax planning.
- Reviews financial records, such as prior tax return forms, income statements, and expenditures to determine forms needed to prepare return.
- Participates in non-traditional engagements with accountants, attorneys and other staff as assigned.
- Masters technology to perform assigned task and manage workflow.
- Understands and embraces a culture of privacy and excellent client service.
Job Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting with at least 2 classes in taxation; or equivalent course work with a bachelor’s degree in another subject. M.S. in Taxation preferred.
- Preparation of individual, pass through entity and corporate returns preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent email and voice message etiquette.
- Emotional Intelligence and empathy in dealing with colleagues and clients.
- Paperless office experience preferred.
- CCH ProSystem FX Tax or other tax preparation software experience preferred.
- Humility in receiving instruction and correction.
- Passion for learning.
