The Deal Execution & Innovation Specialist manages the pipeline for a business unit and tracks all opportunities within that business unit.

This person will also support sales pursuits and close opportunities using deep sales processes and offering expertise.

Develop and direct the sales efforts for new client target acquisition and/or direct the efforts to ensure execution of sales strategies geared toward protecting and growing business with existing clients.

What you’ll do:

  • Consistently achieve predetermined activity goals.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the full line of service offerings.
  • Generate & qualify new business opportunities, in both existing client accounts and new target accounts, by actively having strategic conversations, scheduling meetings, and building relationships.
  • Lead client meetings, and all required prep work, leading up to meetings.
  • Craft messaging and run outbound campaigns, based on research/client targets, focused on specific services of various offering groups.
  • Research target accounts and identify key individuals within client organizations that are high priorities for Accenture.
  • Regularly meet and work directly with Managing Directors, GTM Leads, SMEs, account teams, and partnership channels to provide them with direction, based on traction made within target account portfolio.
  • Manage pursuit plans and team action items during inflight opportunity pursuits.
  • Build-out client facing materials for new business engagements and sales meetings.
  • Help manage alliance pipeline and gain traction within our mutual partner targets, as well as communicate updates/direction to rest of the business development team.
  • Manage Accenture’s presence at various conferences and trade shows.
  • Drive attendance to/follow up on marketing events and respond to all inbound support requests.
  • Connect Accenture’s appropriate client account leadership personnel with our correct strategic partners
  • Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems
  • Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
  • Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.
  • Travel: Required
