About the Role:

Aura’s Employee Benefits business is a 100% channel focused sales organization.

The Divisional Vice- President, Employee Benefits Sales leads a team of quota-carrying sales professionals in an assigned territory.

The DVP is a hands-on leader accountable for an overall sales goal of their team.

They achieve this goal by continually assessing their team on qualitative and quantitative measures andcoaching team members to consistently higher levels of performance.

This role reports to the Senior Vice-President, Employee Benefits Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of individual contributors in achieving sales goals, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior.
  • Deliver on assigned targets for bookings, revenue, profitability, market penetration, and other key performance objectives
  • Continually assess the effectiveness of the organization, champion change initiatives, and remove obstacles to change, resulting in higher organizational performance
  • Aggressively develop the sales talent through performance management frameworks and metrics, and ensuring all associates are held accountable for results
  • Help close new business by developing relationships with strategic partners in the region and serving as an escalation point for the sales team

Qualifications

  • 5+ years leading a channel sales organization and consistently beating targets
  • Data-driven mindset with a strong focus on sales process and leading indicators
  • Proven ability to achieve results in uncertain environments with ambiguous data
  • Strong executive presence
  • Ability to travel extensively and on short notice
  • Insurance or benefits administration experience a plus
