Kora Brand Ambassador

This position is exclusively for actively enrolled COLLEGE STUDENTS. If you are not a college student, you are not eligible for this position. No exceptions.

Evolvez is hiring 100 Kora Brand Ambassadors. This job is exclusively for college students. Ambassadors will play an integral role in Kora’s college-focused marketing efforts.

This position is only available to students who attend a college in the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin.

This position is for the 2022 spring semester with the potential for extension into future semesters. The timeline is subject to change:

  • On-boarding + training: Monday, February 14th – Sunday, February 27th, 2022 (2-weeks)
  • Program execution: Monday, February 28th – Sunday, May 8th, 2022 (10-weeks)

As a Kora Brand Ambassador, your goal will be to utilize various on-the-ground and social media marketing tactics to generate at least 45 Kora account registrations with connected bank accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Your primary goal as a Kora Brand Ambassador will be to generate at least 45 Kora account registrations with connected bank accounts.
  • As part of this Ambassador program, people who successfully download the Kora app and sign up using your personal referral code will receive a $5 welcome credit on their Kora app. They can either withdraw this balance by connecting a bank account or utilize it within the app.
  • Ambassadors MUST commit to working at least 25 hours for Kora over the course of the 10-week program execution period.
  • Ambassadors MUST complete virtual training and program planning tasks prior to the 10-week program execution period.
  • Maintain weekly communication with the Evolvez team and participate in monthly group video calls to stimulate teamwork and learning across the group of Ambassadors
  • Submit weekly program recaps and timesheets
  • Kora Ambassadors will be super-users of the app. Your usage will lead to more authentic referrals. You must also be willing and able to support upcoming product launches.
  • Ambassadors will utilize on-the-ground marketing tactics to drive app registrations with connected bank accounts: peer-to-peer conversations, classroom presentations, student organization activations, flyering, creative events like financial literacy workshops or bringing in guest speakers like Kora Head of Marketing and Growth, Jose Duarte.
  • Ambassadors will create content to share on their personal social channels to drive app registrations with connected bank accounts. Each Ambassador MUST post at least one Instagram post with #KoraAmbassador & #KoraPartner. The top 5-10% of posts will receive a budget from Kora to be boosted.

QUALIFICATIONS

Kora qualifications: 

  • MUST attend a University in the states outlined in the “Description” section above
  • Interest in finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship
  • Ambassadors who are familiar with Kora or have used the service are preferred. In this position, you will be spreading financial inclusion and literacy, so if you share that mission, submit an application!
  • Greek Life members are preferred, but not required.
  • Well-connected individuals are preferred, but not required.
  • Ambassadors with at least 1,000 Instagram followers are preferred, but not required.
  • Ambassadors must make their Instagram profile public for the entire duration of the program.
  • Ambassadors who are not currently engaged in another Ambassador program are preferred, but not required.
  • This is a paid, part-time 1099 Independent Contractor role. Ambassadors must be full-time undergraduate students who are eligible to work in the US with a valid SSN.
