Full Charge Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant

Our client, a boutique privately-owned real estate investment and finance firm, is seeking to hire a Full Charge Bookkeeper and Admin.

This position will report directly to the CEO.The candidate will support two business lines: A Real Estate Investment firm that it co-invests with institutions, high net worth individuals, family offices and trusts in real estate and a lending business that specializes in financing short-term private money bridge loans secured by commercial real estate located in the Western US.

The candidate is expected to:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations of commercial property.
Oversee the accounting and servicing of loan originations.
Process payroll for company employees and track PTO.
Manage and complete general ledger journal entries and cash balance
Process accounts receivable and review accounts payable for each respective property, originated loans, and company principal.
Complete bank reconciliations
Review and Prepare Balance Sheets and Income Statements per property to verify account balances and reasonable revenue and expense amounts on a monthly basis for up to 20 entities.
Compile financial statements and portfolios for company principal
AP and AR for company Principal
Administrative duties and support of CEO
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
At least 5 Year work Experience
Strong command of Quickbooks, Financial Accounting, AP, AR, Accurate preparation of GL, Balance Sheet, Budgets, Financial Statements.
Strong Analytical Skills
Detail Oriented
Excellent Organization
Highly motivated with aspiration for growth
Knowledge of Commercial Real Estate and Mortgage Banking, a plus
