We are looking for a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team on a full-time basis!
Ideal candidates will have a strong background in public works construction, will serve as the company’s point of contact both with the client and with the construction team, and lead the successful completion of public infrastructure and facilities.
The Construction Project Manager is the leader of the project team and is responsible for the coordination, organization, control, and completion of assigned projects on time, within budget, and in a manner, which will enhance the company’s reputation.
Axiom Group is a general engineering/building contractor and we specialize in Public Works projects.
We are located in Los Angeles and have completed projects all over Los Angeles County such as civil engineering works, exterior transportation improvements, ADA upgrades, parking lot improvements, landscaping, concrete construction, earthwork, and modernization of existing facilities.

Responsibilities:
· Monitor multiple Public Works construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints
· Plan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet deadlines
· Prepare and submit budget estimates, schedules, progress reports, cost tracking reports, and RFI’s
· Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes or other regulations
· Negotiate and prepare change orders, close-out documents, and ensure receipt of as-built drawings, warranties, final inspections, and final invoices
· Coordinate project documentation with project team and project engineers
Requirements:
· 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager in Public Works
· General construction trade(s) or Superintendent work experience is preferred
· Strong communication skills, critical thinking, complex problem solving, and ability to work independently
· Experience with managing multiple projects at once
· Experience with Job Order Contracting (JOC) – preferred
· Experience with DSA projects – preferred
· Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6, MS Excel, Bluebeam
· Ability to work in an office environment (typing/sitting) and on project sites (must wear PPE); ability to work in project field trailers
· Ability to drive on the job as needed for job site visits and meetings; must have valid driver’s license
· OSHA 30 certification preferred, but not required
