Essential Functions
Review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, trusts, non-profits, partnerships, C corps, S corps
Analyze tax implications for individual/business tax returns
Responsible for quarterly and year-end tax planning
Manage tax department
Scheduling responsibilities for tax team
Mentor tax staff and seniors
Collaborate with other departments to make sure firm goals are met as a whole
Review tax proposals and submit to potential clients
Participates in business development activity
Identifies opportunities for the development of new services
Identify organization or association to network and develop business contacts
Participate in client visitations
Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Current and valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Accounting
8+ years of Public Accounting experience
Master of Science degree in Taxation or JD highly preferred
Proficient in Lacerte, RIA, BNA as well as other accounting software
