We are seeking a strong Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager for a 3-4 month consulting opportunity.
Our client is a very well-established organization in the distribution arena.
Here are some details:
Deep knowledge of U.S.
GAAP
CPA highly desirable
A self-starter with a solid understanding accounting processes
Ability to review general ledger detail and make accurate assessments on account activity
Recent hands on experience performing month end close including maintaining complex schedules, booking journal entries, and performing general ledger/subledger reconciliations
Experience preparing year-end audit quality financials (including footnotes) from working in public accounting, or financial reporting / corporate accounting departments
Ability to develop schedules from scratch for new processes or business transactions
Experience performing accounting research and interpreting authoritative guidance
Advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables, vlookup, if, sumif)
Skilled at performing data analysis and reconciliation across multiple sources
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration
Great Plains experience desirable
This position is located on the Westside of Los Angeles.
Pay: $48.00 per hour
