Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years’ experience in broad-based rewards and compensation and/or executive rewards and compensation
- Experience consulting for external clients
- Deep analysis and reporting experience – skilled in data manipulation and analysis using spreadsheet software, and developing written reports which summarize analysis and provide interpretation in the context of the challenge faced by the client
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modelling, and coordination of people and resources
- Knowledge of compensation principles, e.g., job benchmarking, salary structure design, job architecture, short- and long-term incentive plan design; for executive compensation, knowledge of annual, equity, stock, and other long-term and short- term incentive programs
Nice To Have:
- Executive compensation consulting experience is highly preferred
- An executive presence with polished and well-developed communication skills
- The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously on a variable schedule based on project demand
- The ability to link compensation challenges to broader business or industry context
- An active listener – giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
