Senior Compensation Analyst

As a Senior Compensation Analyst, you will partner with the Compensation team on supporting client groups across our Corporate, Operations, and Retail teams.

You will work closely with HR centers of excellence including Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to service compensation requests for their client groups and incoming talent.

In this role you will:

  • Be a strategic partner to People and Leadership teams at GOAT Group in developing innovative strategies to attract and retain top talent
  • Partner with the Global Compensation team on a variety of projects including program design, analysis, budgeting, & implementation of new programs
  • Participate in the compensation survey submission and job matching process
  • Evaluate market and economic trends to recommend adjustments to the company’s compensation infrastructure as needed.

    This includes salary ranges, geographic differentials, and merit/promotion budgets

  • Administer bi-annual merit planning and equity processes in partnership with the Compensation team and other members of the People team
  • Collaborate with HRBP’s and Talent Acquisition to understand business needs.

    Act as a trusted advisor by providing recommendations on compensation matters that both support business goals and ensure market competitiveness

  • Review requests for new or revised roles to determine appropriate salary grade assignments within our job architecture
  • Stay abreast of employment law updates, monitor and interpret FLSA and other federal, state, and local laws pertaining to compensation compliance
  • Support the management and development of our HR Systems as it relates to compensation
  • Assist with other duties and projects as assigned

We are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in Compensation or related discipline; must have 3+ years experience conducting data analysis and presenting findings
  • Bachelor’s Degree
    – preferred focus in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or other quantitative fields
  • Expert in MS Excel; you have experience building dynamic and intuitive Excel models
  • Highly organized with a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic business environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and recognizing trends
  • Ability to translate data or complex findings to senior leaders
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build relationships and partner effectively – fueling collaboration and providing service-oriented support
