Fractional CFO – Remote

411 Locals is seeking an experienced and driven Fractional CFO to join the 411 Local’s leadership team.

This is a key role that will report directly to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and work directly with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The CFO will have primary accountability for managing Tax, the strategic investing recommendations and strategic projects support, as needed to support all business units ensuring that we meet their goals by providing quality, simplified and cost-effective financial support and solutions.

To do well in this role you should have experience as a senior financial leader in an international company with complex financials and a multiple business units’ strategy.

The CFO must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations.

The goal is to protect the company’s revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10+ years of proven experience in a senior financial managerial (Sr.

    Director or above) position 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; Masters degree in Financial discipline or MBA a plus 
  • CPA or equivalent international certification preferred 
  • Experience and demonstrable contract negotiation skills 
  • Experience with start-ups and early stage growth companies a plus 
  • Experience in managing teams of 15+ people in an international setting. 
  • Data-driven, able to review, manipulate and gain insight from data 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong attention to detail & ability to manage multiple priorities effectively 
  • Strong project management skills, demonstrated ability to deliver on-time and on-budget 

Scope of Work:

  • Manage, develop and motivate a high-performing cross-functional team responsible for executing all financial functions including but not limited to: tax, investment, M&A, financial planning and accounting. 
  • Collaborate with the internal clients to ensure alignment on financial goals and execution 3.

    Partner with business unit owners and key departments to build and deploy a strong financial mindset and drive the delivery of their financial needs.

  • Drive the financial due diligence evaluation of new business and acquisition opportunities as identified by the leadership team. 
  • Develops investment strategy options to maximize capital while considering cash and liquidity risks 
  • Evaluate business units financial structure and identify and recommend areas for optimization for growth expansion and cost reduction. 
  • Perform special projects and global projects, as assigned. 
  • Provide leadership of all of the following areas: 
  • Insurance 
  • Financial and Management Reporting 
  • Working Capital Management 
  • Outsourcing tax and accounting services 
  • Tax reporting and licensing by country, federal, state, and local jurisdictions f.

    Banking 

  • Investments 
  • Borrowing 
  • Corporate records 
  • Advisory to the Chief Executive Officer and President

  • Developing and leading the people in his/her team in the skill and art of the trade and to be able to take more responsibility, and be ready to step up, as part of succession plans and /or to grow the operation 
  • Planning, forecasting, tracking, analyzing, and reporting the performance of their department.

    Supporting and cooperating with other divisions and departments and aligning plans, forecasts, processes, expectations, timelines, resources, workforce, etc.

  • Participating in forums, projects, focus groups, etc.

    Collaborating with Recruiting, HR, Training, and QA on designing and calibrating the requirements for selection, training and quality assurance of the personnel. 

  • Creating, complying with, and implementing policies, procedures, job descriptions, and guidelines which involves their respective department.
  • Managing risks for the company which are generated by or can be managed by the department.

    Disputing and escalating wrong decisions, evaluations, and policies and practices if they are not in the interest of the customer, company, and staff. 

  • Reporting and taking action to prevent and minimize anything that might damage the interests of the customer, the company, and the staff, using the provided channels. 
  • Protecting the company’s interest and reputation in all activities. 

Work Conditions

  • Work hours: as per schedule, which may change with advance notice.

    Presence before or after these work hours may be required based on business needs. 

  • Intermittent Travel Internationally may be required
