Global Marketing Program Manager

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will play an important role in building awareness and adoption of BCG’s marketing and business development technologies, with a core focus on Microsoft Dynamics CRM. These tools are critical to delivering more personalized experiences, promoting transparency and collaboration, and generating actionable insights in support of BCG’s strategic objectives.

You will offer thought partnership and execution in three areas: 1) Audience Management Technology program strategy, implementation and program measurement, 2) Engagement with speciality business, account teams, and marketing teams to promote effective use of tools, 3) Contribute to Audience Management offerings and tool development.

You will do this while collaborating with Marketing teams, Speciality Businesses, and BCG account teams, and Global Client Team. Day-to-day activities will be spread primarily across the following areas:

Program Development and Impact Measurement

  • Support definition of change management strategy using experience from stakeholder interactions

  • Assess change impacts of releases (every 4-6 weeks) and plan change activities to support the system updates / process changes

  • Develop and track program success metrics

  • Prepare communications and training plans and related materials

  • Develop value proofs

  • Help prepare for stakeholder engagement meetings as needed

  • Work with Account Based Engagement Team to support inclusion of foundational technologies

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Onboard new stakeholders, including specialty businesses and new account teams, and establish working cadence

  • Deliver training and communications to increase readiness and adoption of stakeholders

  • Support cohorts working through special projects related to marketing platforms

  • Provide performance support to address questions and issues and assist in system usage

Audience Management Offerings and Tools Development

  • Collect and record feedback for consideration in product backlog

  • Participate in user feedback sessions and sprint reviews

  • Contributes point of view to help influence the overall Dynamics roadmap

  • Provides input to process design related to use of marketing technologies

  • Participates and helps coordinate in User Acceptance Testing providing business insight and sign off on the functionality and usability of the solution

YOU’RE GOOD AT

  • Core BCG consulting skill set, incl. problem solving, quantitative analysis, storytelling, etc.
  • Understanding of the BCG partnership, account team models, and BCG’s business
  • Ability to build relationships and influence MDPs and their teams; credible and mature
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently and in teams; displays consideration and respect for others and puts team success ahead of personal opinion
  • Great organization and planning skills, ability to juggle multiple projects, deadlines and competing priorities
  • Persistent in reaching key objectives, but tactful, patient and flexible to make progress
  • Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced, global, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing or related field
  • Preferred 7+ years-experience in management consulting or other professional services firm; BCG consulting experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record supporting successful systems implementation and / or technology enabled change efforts
  • Strong project management experience
  • Strong skills in Windows Office (in particular, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal)

YOU’LL WORK WITH

Marketing Technologies is led by Alejandro Meyer (MDP) and Leslie Spengler (Senior Director, Marketing Technologies).

On a day-to-day basis, you will support the change program for Audience Management tools, including the onboarding of new teams, under the leadership of your Line Manager and other Marketing & Business Development Technologies team resources. Program results are reported to Sharon Marcil – Global Client Team and Marketing Chair – and shared with the Executive Committee.
