We’re growing Become a vital member of our team and our growth.Basic Description:Assist our Product Development team by helping to define and execute new product visions.

You will own the production timeline and product launch process across our multiple brands.

You will partner with stakeholders throughout the sales, marketing, and creative teams to help implement the product road map ensuring successful launches of new products across our brands and throughout our markets.

This includes monitoring the success of those launches, reviewing milestones and metrics, testing and improving product, and bringing data back to the Product Development team to help guide future development and innovation.Job Responsibilities:Generate product documentation and briefing materials to inform internal stakeholders of product opportunity and function as well as providing setup materials to the Art Department to generate product packaging.Coordinate product launches and provide support to inside and outside sales, customer service, and eCommerce teams to assist them in their efforts to bring our products to market.Supervise the production process with manufacturing partners through project management tools to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.Research new potential markets and users, and work to analyze, position, and tailor new and existing product innovations.Remain informed of the latest industry regulatory and compliance requirements within our markets and coordinate the timely testing and required approvals with testing laboratories.Ensure all company websites are updated with current products and the correct specifications.Get hands on with products and their features to identify weaknesses, user feedback, opportunities for improvement, compliance with specifications, and create detailed reporting to further improve products.Generate comprehensive end-user product documentation and lead internal team training for both new and existing products.Catalog and communicate defects to our manufacturing partners and collaborate with the Product Development team to finalize resolutions and product improvements.Assist with other Product Development department processes including placing orders, interfacing with our Warehouse and Logistics teams, arranging and approving factory inspections, and monitoring communications with outside partners.RequirementsBasic Requirements:Education: BA/BS Degree.Able to uphold the highest level of confidentiality.Ability to execute assignments thoughtfully beyond the checkbox and an initiative to explore next steps without direct guidance.Willingness to develop new ideas, encourage team members cross-departmentally, and see projects to their conclusion.Report daily to our Westlake Village, CA headquarters and work irregular schedules required to communicate to our offices and partners overseas.Advanced computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:3 years of product management or product development experience.Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the competitive landscape.High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.Experience with software collaboration, project management, or other emerging digital organizational tools.Ability to communicate, present ideas, and influence at the executive level.BenefitsDuring these difficult times, as we ease our way back into the office by exceeding State and Local Government Safety Requirements, this position will report full-time to our HQ in Westlake Village, CA.Our staff works hard and plays hard too.
